So I’m not looking to rent or lease an office space at this point. However, I still want to continue perusing recording at home – for both me and clients. While not the most attractive space, the basement is a solid foundation and I can add the acoustic treatment for when I’m mixing.
The tricky part is the furnace, water heater, sump pump, and two active boys, etc…
I’ve already had some inquiries, but with the whole COVAD thing, everything is on hold. This does give me planning time however. I’m considering the following which will support a guitar and vocal, two vocalists, and my Roland XP-80 keyboard (not all at the same time of course!)

It’s the $7k price tag when all is said and done that’s tough to swallow. But it’s modular and movable for down the road. We’ll see how the next couple months play out with the marketing I’ve been doing, and the rest of the craziness!
