Acoustic curtains and foam panels are in place. Next is insulating the ceiling. Already a big difference! Pics coming soon once I get things tidied up.

Monitor Upgrade
I’ve had the KRK Rokit 5 for many years. Still doing well, but decided it was time to upgrade. Kali Audio 6.5″ (LP-6) Monitors are on the way!
Dreaming
So I’m not looking to rent or lease an office space at this point. However, I still want to continue perusing recording at home – for both me and clients. While not the most attractive space, the basement is a solid foundation and I can add the acoustic treatment for when I’m mixing. The tricky…

New Guitar
So, I’ve been eyeing it for a while. Ordered the Lava Me 2 guitar. No amp needed, but has built in effects. Certainly fun for me, and hopefully the rest of the fam will enjoy as well! https://www.lavamusic.com/en/lava-me2

I have also pulled the trigger on the Recording Connection (https://www.recordingconnection.com) and will be interning with Winterland Studios (http://www.winterlandstudios.com). As part of the program it includes the full version of ProTools so I’ll…
Overdue Update
So, the wife knows, but even she took a turn on the kit. Another goodie I’ve added is the Presonus Faderport. For a one-channel controller I like it, but still have some integration issues for my setup as of course, like most, are all geared to ProTools, or for Presonus, their Studio One DAW. I’ll…
Yep, Caved…
So I caved and got the Alesis NitroMesh kit. (Wife doesn’t know yet!) Without having experience in the marketplace with electronic drum kits, I have to say I think the sounds are well sampled. The pads are smaller than I’d like, but for the price point you can’t go wrong here. Being able to change…
